The Quilt Batting Store was started after lots of procrastination. We have managed the WWW.BATT-MART.COM website for almost 30 years. We started it from nothing, after being encouraged to do so by a hosting company. So after all that time the hosting company says that the technology on that website is just too old to work any longer. That site stopped figuring shipping cost for our customers it then stopped processing their credit cards. We have had to do than manually for the last few months. So with all this experience under our belts we decided too build the best quilt batting site to be found anywhere. We have done our research and our prices are better than any other place in this market. Our goal is to offer whatever product our great customers want. So we are hoping to add any factory in the USA that makes quilt batting. We offer discounts on the products up front and then we give even bigger discounts to groups like hospital volunteer groups. Church groups and other that make items to give away for helping those who need those items. For the last several years we have been doing a great deal of business with fake snow products. Several movie supply operations buy products to supply the movie industry. Sea World and Bush Gardens buy rolls of bonded polyester quilt batting to use as snow for the winter shows. We have been making custom made product for several industries. For example we cut several thousand squares each year to supply the speaker industry. They put this inside the speakers to help with the sound quality. We do not have all of our products on this website as of today. We will be adding products almost daily for the next couple of months. Here are some questions that we will try to answer in our future blogs in the coming days. How do you put the batting in a quilt? What is the best batting to use in a baby quilt? How to make wool batting? What is the best batting to use for a hand tied quilt? Can I use felt for quilt batting? Do you have to use batting in a quilt? What kind of batting to use for quilting?
